The following works reflect my ongoing exploration of voice, dignity, belonging, and the journey of coming home within ourselves.

An original song featured on a Berklee College of Music and Mercy Corps compilation CD created to raise awareness and funds in response to the atrocities in Darfur. The song celebrates our shared humanity and the enduring dignity that unites us across cultures.

A live spoken-word performance exploring the journey of coming home within oneself by rediscovering voice, dignity, and the immeasurable value already present within us.
The six-minute performance culminates in a moving call-and-response that invites the audience to become active participants in the experience.

The original theme song for my forthcoming multimedia book project — an invitation to recognize, honor, and express the immeasurable value already placed within every person.

Mika Young is an artist, writer, singer, poet, and creative visionary. She is the founder of Mika Unlimited™, The Luxury Inner-Lifestyle Movement. Through music, poetry, spoken word, storytelling, and writing, she creates work that invites people to recognize, honor, and express the immeasurable value already present within themselves and their communities.
